Depends on how many words were in those chapters first me. If I get a fic with slow burn (ACTUAL SLOWBURN) as well as how they’d interact after the burn finally BURNS, I’d take that as a win. Though I do understand where you’re coming from lol

However yeah, I agree that if the “slowburn” isn’t slow then the payoff of everything after doesn’t hit at all 😔
