i just can’t with the multiple tabs so i keep 2-3 tabs open at once. the first one for the fic i’m currently reading, 2nd is for looking for more fics through people’s bookmarks, third is for everything else

i used to be, but then i got an account so i just mark for later now, then the first thing i do when im in the mood to read, is filter thru that marked for later list lmao 😭

I used to be and then I got a bf who would go thru my phone (bad I know hes gone now) so I got really in the habit of bookmarking!! But honestly it’s so much better! Now I never lose anything, I can sort them by tags, and I can find them on any device!! :)

I’ve got like 40 tabs that have been open for god knows how long because I keep putting off just making an account and using bookmarks instead

this is so weird to me because I have a ton for different fics I want to look for (different fandoms, ships, tags filtered in a certain way etc.) because I don’t always read the same thing, fics I really like so I can access them easily to reread, fics i’m currently reading, links i’ve pressed to new fics or updates from subscription notifications, my own fic that i’ll read to remember what happened when I write (or bc i want to), my stats page, bookmarks list, inbox

the tone of different fics (fandoms, ships, etc) is what my third tab is for. there’s no tab for fics i really like so i can reread because they’d be in my bookmarks, which is easy access. update notifications are already stored in my email (so i wouldn’t need a tab for it), your own fic is in your drafts (so i don’t need a tab for it), and the stats page/bookmarks/inbox is already in its own category. you just go to your homepage and click inbox lol, so again (wouldn’t need a tab for it)

this is just how i rationalize and simplify things. having 50+ tabs open is just insane because most likely it’s just a bunch of tabs that are repeating itself. i used to be that way and i just couldn’t stand it anymore lol

also, so i wont lose any fics that i want to read but haven’t yet, i just make sure to put them and my “read later” category and keep it moving

i literally never use that button, like if it’s not in a tab/visible it doesn’t exist I will forget I put something in mark for later
