It would be a story about how confusing it can be when someone who abused you also does nice things for you sometimes. That and the robot, being tasked to protect her, is basically a representation of trauma responses- he tries to protect her from threats that aren’t really threats, especially when he senses her being on edge. I should write this but I will never

Ok but if you write this down and maybe keep expanding on it a little more and more whenever you feel like it, it could turn in to at least an outline if not an actual story at one point
