I recommend studying irl conversations between people and mimicking that

Also am having trouble cause the character I’m writing talks in a weird way. So I’m trying to make him stay in character but also have the dialogue flow in the way I want.

A lot of neurodivergent people get accused of writing like AI. I’m not sure the exact reasons, but I think it’s probably something to do with how we process language
