exactly. i don’t mind them feeling strongly about this because it is a sensitive topic, but people don’t know how to have discussions/debates without immediately resulting to insults. it just shows the immaturity on their part, so it doesn’t bother me.

Yeah I totally get that! in this anime it’s very much part of the plot and character development that the underage chars are underage and they very much act like 14 and 17 year olds. The maturity gap between them and adult characters is very much apparent (on purpose!) so it icks me out when people ship them with adults, never mind adults that are old enough to be their parents (and one that actually is their parent… let’s not get into that 😭)
