It was that the Murderbot diaries is slavery apologism. Like. The whole series is basically against capitalism and corporate greed. The ‘good guys’ are explicitly community based, everybody does their part, all community members are supported. The main character is a construct (robot human hybrid, think androids) who hacked its mind control and started watching every nerdy tv series that exists. It’s basically a runaway slave. People. Granted, shit isn’t perfect, and the main character does have to kill other constructs at points to protect its people, but like. Life isn’t clean? Fighting for freedom isn’t clean?? I don’t get it man
