I only hate x reader fics when they characterize the reader with physical traits- like tf you mean “big brown eyes” “long curly hair” if you want that so bad, make it an oc insert or self insert not an x reader. The (y/e/c) “your eye color” etc and dictionary of abbreviations at the start of fics exist for a reason

for myself I don’t like it, like did I use to read them, sure but I can’t stand them now but if you want to write or read them idc go for it
