Get on Tumblr and respond to someone's "looking for rp" post or make one yourself! There are tons of people who want to roleplay as canon characters, fandom OCs, or completely original characters. At minimum you'd give a short description of your character, specify what style of rp you want (asterisk style or paragraph style), and provide the first message to establish the setting/vibe. source: i used to do hetalia shipping rp on omegle 😭

From there you continue the RP with the other person as you would with AI (i hate to use that comparison but it's prob what ur familiar with). You usually don't get an instant response and you DO NOT tell your partner to regenerate their response, but you do get genuine human connection and hopefully a friend out of it! I always rp as canon characters so its fun to come up with headcanons and silly scenarios with another nerd :)

AI will literally just make things up. Do not use it for studying.

it can be used if you use it right, you have to actually know some of the material to use it though so you can catch if it makes a mistake. but it’s very helpful for me bc a lot of times other study tools are behind a paywall or just a lot more time consuming
