how are we ever supposed to get smarter and become skilled if we rely on ai to do everything for us? part of growing is trying, sometimes failing, and learning from mistakes. you’ll never be good at reading comprehension if you never try. ai is destroying us slowly and nobody seems to mind

exactly! someone i know had to use chatgpt to break down some information a couple days ago and it absolutely baffled me, like why has that become their go-to if they don’t understand something?

we have in class questions that are graded in one of my classes and people will literally take pictures and have chatgpt solve them. like shamelessly. it’s insane

absolutely wild??? like how are these people going to survive an actual job? they’d be so unqualified if they’re literally using ai in order to pass classes for their degree, and employers are going to notice if they’re having to us chatgpt to figure out how to do aspects of their job??
