and writing something that has pre-established characters and ideas is a REALLY good stepping stone for people to get into writing original stories. Not that they have to, it’s just such a good way to ease into it if that’s the direction someone wants to go in.

especially now that some people can’t even be bothered to write an email by themselves, they just prompt ai to string the words together for them. I don’t care how ass your writing is, I will love, respect, and care about it and its contents way more than anything you had ai “write” for you.
