10/10 I love this experience actually. Reading abandoned fic like it’s Russian roulette. When’s it going to suddenly cut off on a cliffhanger? This chapter or the next? And you’re never prepared when it does. Puts a little spice in my reading.

I don’t purposely like to read unfinished fics but when I do it gives me fuel for maladaptive daydreaming so I don’t just sit there anxiously not knowing what to think about lol. like ooh half a really good story where does it go from there

I don’t think I’ve ever read a finished fan fiction. Conclusions are confining, I like the open ended.

If I’m wanting a conclusive story with a beginning middle and end, I read a published book. But if I’m wanting spin offs and stories that are filled with creativity and healing from previous stories or side characters I adored… I LOVE unfinished fan fics. And I love interacting with the author
