Now, he was able to do this because as the league creator, he still had league manager powers despite being stripped of his commissioner title this offseason for pushing a trade through for himself before the review period elapsed because it wouldn’t have gone through before game time. However, ESPN league creators retain permanent league manager powers, even if someone else is designated as LM
The new commissioner undertook an investigation and found that on at least two occasions, he had altered his lineup to flip a result. These results were nullified, and as a result he missed the playoffs. Thankfully, the guy who moved up a seed and the guy who made the playoffs instead both still lost so we didn’t have to worry about that being a clusterfuck. But we will be dissolving the league and starting anew without him. Fin.
