I don’t think someone can consider themselves a feminist if their entire advocacy revolves around hating men.

I would say it depends on what they hate about men. It’s definitely not a strong stance either way, but if they hate the more masculine culture that puts women down, and isn’t just hating men for being men, the it’s at least slightly better, but not the strongest argument.

I agree with that, hating a behavior or action is reasonable and completely understandable, but it doesn’t excuse just bashing on men because they’re a prominent part in that behavior or action. We shouldn’t use our negative experiences with men as a reason to bring them down and demean them, we should be using it to educate and to bring awareness about those behaviors
