Win win. You don’t have to buy as much alc, and people’s expectations are tempered since whatever you do buy is “extra”.

Also for the alc u do get, make a costco trip. Grab handles, and maybe a few cases of seltzer/beers. Handles best bc they’re hella economical, pretty cheap to just grab chase and make drinks, and ppl can actually get drunk if they want to.

It’s a 15-20 people party. Low-key don’t want to have to much and get noise complaints from other apartment neighbors.

Oh bet yeah you should be chillin with ~2 handles (80 shots -> ~4 shots/person). 1 handle if you dont expect everyone to drink. Dont forget cups and paper towels.

I got cups and paper towels. The goal is to lock my bedroom. My place got a balcony. I am going to put a sign saying only smoking. I don’t someone fall off and die

Also idk how close you are w your neighbors but id usually let mine know before I throw just so they aren’t taken aback / are usually more tolerant of noise since it’s not a surprise. Hell, you can invite them if you want and then you def won’t noise complaints if they pu.

When one of my neighbors first moved in, they printed out a bunch of slips with their ig handle and that they were throwing the following weekend. Slipped them under doors in our floor. Anecdotally, on the receiving end, I thought it was a pretty nice gesture. An option to consider. Though that’d be up to your level of comfort of putting out your socials like that lol
