stop settling for bullshit candidates who tell us what we want to hear and don’t do shit. you know how many times biden pushed his “red line”? has your memory been wiped of the fact that this genocide began and continued as a result of the democratic party’s inability to tell israel no? at this point idgaf if you voted for her or not but stop acting like it would’ve done anything to help us. it never has and it never will until the US ends support to the settler colony
Agreed! Another side to this would also be how Trump is creating more problems for the American middle class to fight for for themselves and diverts the attention away from Palestine meanwhile Kamala, while her admin would still be evil but just comparatively not THIS bad- still allowed us supporters a voice without suppressing it and allowed us the hope for a ceasefire and this relative freedom of speech would allow us to dismantle these systems in due time!
it’s a complex issue and not one that can be seen in black and white. of course this genocide is the more horrific thing to come out of this century by far, and kamala would not have done anything to fix it. and i wish more than anything we could get an actual president who cares about people. but now we have trump making everyone’s lives a living hell people don’t have energy to fight for palestine because they have to fight for their lives too. the primaries were our best shot to have…
an actual candidate that cares and somehow put an end to this genocide. but the final election was not the place to take a stand by refusing to vote, as nothing more than virtue signaling. i’ll keep fighting every day to push against genocide and we also have to be realistic about our options at certain points
like i said before, i don’t give af if you voted for harris or not. the fact of the matter is you could not have voted in favor of Palestine this election, period. in the specific case of the Palestinian genocide, neither candidate took a firm stance against it, and it’s disingenuous to say otherwise. you can pick at harris’s other positions being vastly better than trump’s, but the case of Palestine is not one of them.
