I just joined a group I’ve been in it for around 3 weeks now (Freshman in college) and the people I really want to be friends with have another group chat..I can be kinda stiff and awkward sometimes.. how do I open up to them..

ok not to be that person but this is coming from someone who has dealt with social anxiety since probably kinder… you just have to do it. Just talk to them like you are comfortable and like you’ve known them forever. If they’re making fun of you or making you feel small, they’re not real friends. Good people will let you be yourself.

this is the true answer as someone who was extremely socially anxious and learned how to sit with it. u just got to conquer your fear by trying and proving yourself it is not that bad and it’s fun to participate.
