That’s more of a mental thing you have to overcome. Educating myself on the low chances of getting pregnant even without any birth control really helped me, so I just pay attention to my cycle and only use condoms with my partner for like half the month. I don’t recommend that by any means but with all your precautions it’s extremely rare you’d ever get pregnant

I feel like i just trust the science. But i also trust that if things go wrong there are counter measures. Like abortions or Plan B. I just know even if somehow someway my birth control and condoms don’t work, i can still NOT have a child.

I had to stop taking my bc cause it was not reacting good with my body so it’s real bad. My periods are also changing cause I’m at that age so they’ve gone from 5 days to 3 and it freaks me out every time. Usually I’ll just take a break til my next cycle to make sure and that’s been the only thing that has helped me realize that this is the new norm and I’m okay

It also helped me to understand how long couples generally have to try to get pregnant even when they do everything right. Even if you hit it right during ovulation, it’s not a guarantee the egg will get fertilized, attach, and develop

My rule of thumb is that the 1-2 weeks during and after my period are safe, then I use condoms until my next period. But everyone’s cycle is different. Either way, when I was on the pill I’d do it raw all throughout the month and never got pregnant over the 5ish years I was doing that. I also sucked at taking the pill consistently if that’s any relief.
