I feel like a chameleon sometimes, cause no matter who I'm with I can usually get along just fine, regardless of interests, age, politics, or gender. But now I feel like I don't have a solid identity, I don't know what I'm like in my natural state

This is totally understandable, but also not good for you. Being friendly and amicable is one thing, being too flexible in who you are is another. “If you don’t stand for anything, you’ll fall for nothing.” Be someone

For me “getting along” with someone for a bit and ACTUALLY hanging out with them to form a deep meaningful relationship are different. Doing that could show you what’s your natural vs adapting.

I’m that way too, it’s just that I have a polite character and flexible with my thoughts. I deem that as one of my identities, it’s not bad because it helps me have a smooth social life. You can start building your identity and what you stand for inside of you, what you show others is just for show anyways. Just open up to the closest ones!

I’m that way too. Raised to be super polite made me good in convos with everyone and anyone, but I didn’t know me for a bit. I had to figure out was I was definitely against. Once I got that, I felt I had more of an identity. You’ll figure you out. All good to be curious and genuine with people too.
