Probably just that he still cares about what’s going on in your life and wants to be on good terms. I broke up with my ex gf for a similar reason (I’m dealing with some major grief and we’d not been together long; just needed to be on my own), and even though I don’t like any of her stories (because I know she would read into that), I still periodically click to watch one because I hope she’s doing well and am sometimes curious what she’s up to. Soft block him if you would prefer it stop

he might think he can still keep you in his life as a “backup” option. if him liking your stories makes you feel bad or weird i would just block him or at the very least hide your stories.
