I’m really sorry that happened to you, your feelings are completely valid. Please don’t ever feel ashamed. Im around your age and for me virginity isn’t something shameful, it’s a personal and religious value I take seriously, and I respect anyone who chooses to wait for the right time and person when they feel comfortable. That’s not something to be made fun of, it’s simply staying true to yourself.

Don’t be ashamed. Embrace it. I’m 22 and I’m also embarrassed sometimes to say it, but most people I meet are actually impressed by it. This one girl kept asking me how I don’t give into the temptation, I’m just scared of intimacy but she was really nice so we cuddled and didn’t do anything.
