It used to be a bigger deal but now people don’t really care, Anthrocon has parade rules against showing skin but more so to control crowds and length (last year’s parade was 2 hours long)

It was controversial back in late the 90s-2010 but generally no one cares nowadays especially since it’s usually done bc of medical conditions or bc full suits are expensive as fuck or bc it’s too damn hot in the first place. The general consensus is if you gotta poodle poodle y’know? For whatever reason if you wanna poodle just poodle. The anthro con thing going on is another story. They’re just being assholes
