Maybe a good place to start is to follow artists you like on whatever social media platform you use. If you see a piece you like, look up the artist and see if you can follow them anywhere

Hmmm, the way I see it the community is just a group of people who express ourselves through these characters that we create. You can start somewhere like finding an animal you vibe with and an idea in your head with what they may look like. I know it took me some time to find mine

Of course there's more to it such as interactions with the community, but that's all based upon how much you wish to interact with the community or not. I just love the occasional meetup with people, looking at amazing arts and other creations that others do. I just love how creative and expressive furries are and that's really what drew me in
