By all means msrp for games should be like $100 rn if we go from when it raised to $60 in 2005, but video games have actually managed to beat inflation. People only complain so much because it’s the popular thing to do and they’re so accustomed to 15 years of $60 games, most have never been alive for when they were $50, including myself, as I was born in may 2005, so the jump in price was shocking

If we go off of wage increases and base it off of average lowest wages and not the federal minimum in us, since most companies don’t actually follow that, it still beats out almost every game, just not gta 5. Though I’d have to double check.

When you adjust for inflation yes. I’m talking about when the games came out, and how much they cost then. That $60 in 2013 is worth $85 today
