I was in a class about relating philosophy to modern topics- I did an essay and presentation on the questionable economics of EA sports use of micro transactions in the Madden games (along with the concept of microtransactions as a whole)

It was for my environmental impact class last term. Our campus has a huge problem with litter. So my project was basically me picking up enough cans and bottles to drop off at BottleDrop to get enough to buy GTA VI. Unfortunately I succeeded

My professor was appalled lol- found the concept of micro transactions weird to him, and then I mentioned how they are marketed to kids or even how they become mandatory in some gamemodes and he was very concerned lol
