Eh, supply drops were super easy to earn in Advanced Warfare, and are still way better than the bullshit store thing that’s in the game now since at least the guns you got out of them were actually different stat-wise. Same thing with the req packs in Halo 5, you could get at least one if not 2 in a single warzone match. It really became an issue with the crates in BO3 in my opinion when it would take hours to get just one.
But yeah, Black Ops 3 through WWII made them a real fucking pain in the ass. Still, better than the store because at least what you earned often fit the respective aesthetics for the games they were in, or at least better than a lot of the shit they sell now. I’ve got Gamepass some I’m installing BO7, but my hopes are not high.
I also likes that, at least for Advanced Warfare, most of the guns we’re either real ones tha actually exist or felt/looked like what a semi-futuristic evolution of a real world model would look like. Obvious exceptions for the plasma weapons but at least they had a small difference in that they don’t penetrate cover like ballistic weapons do. It helped to balance things out which I think got lost by the time Infinite Warfare came along.
