 EA just took BioWare behind the shed, meaning Mass Effect has been officially cancelled. Ofc you’ll still get your reprinted coaching games (because ofc they would) and Simps 4 players will still be getting dlc because $1.5k+ worth of dlc wasn’t enough…🚬🫩

The whole article was actually pretty upsetting. Typical companies trading hands while CEOs retain their positions as hundreds of employees are without a job. Don’t even get me started on WHO bought the company and is ultimately just responsible for the chain of events. What’s worse is that the whole time I was thinking; “why couldn’t it have been Ubisoft?”

Not particularly surprising when you ask yourself when was the last time BioWare released a game that made money.

And it’s not just that BioWare has spent the last twelve years making unprofitable masterpieces. You can argue they haven’t made a good game since 2013.

A symptom of being owned by EA, you will probably see more of that with the companies that Microsoft has been playing Agar.io with. You’d also probably have to go as far back as 2013 just to find a game worthwhile that EA put out themselves anyways.
