Sometimes the light reflects on a monitor mount but it’s better than light hitting the OLED panels directly. Thankfully Im busy during the day

i do agree, cause man i hate when the light glares on my screen, but like u at least need some blinds cause i would not be able to function like that

The blinds that are installed do a decent job, it’s not as bright as looks in the picture. Sunlight on the screens would kill the pixels which is a a bigger concern and why I didn’t put it in the other corner. Plus it isn’t an issue at night when I get home from classes

OLED is reflective but IPS is better for sunlight

True. The TV in the living room is IPS since there’s more natural light there, but both bedrooms are good enough at blocking direct sunlight to have OLED panels. QD-OLED looks fantastic

True if you aren’t living downtown the rents a bit more reasonable but still technically more expensive than even a 3 bedroom house in most of America.

Oh yeah, I’m from the east coast originally so I understand that. Thankfully where I’m at it’s comparable to other college towns. Heading to the neighboring towns would still rent a small house for the same price though

Using the buses, not having to pay for parking, and being able to get to the school in 15 minutes outweighs the $100-200 a month that I’d “save” when you consider gas prices and parking permits.
