Not sure if there are any devs here, but I’m brand new to programming and need to make a simple first person point and click game. What free engine should I use as a beginner?

If you’re a beginner with zero experience you could try something like Scratch first. It helps you get very a basic idea of how coding works, and you should be able to make a point and click game relatively easily with it. There’s also tons of tutorials online for just about anything you could possibly want to make on Scratch

Agree with the scratch guy. Maybe gamemaker, not sure if the complicated UI will be annoying Pygame can be pretty nice too
