News flash : part of living with people is recognizing that everyone has different routines and making coffee in the morning is a normal and you might hear it. Live by yourself or put headphones in.

YES! However, it’s still important to be considerate and try to limit noise as much as reasonably possible. Like go ahead and make your coffee, but maybe don’t slam all the doors and cabinets in the process. But some noises are inevitable and it shouldn’t prevent you from living your life

No need for the attitude. I just wanted to add that because I’ve had roommates who were loud af and didn’t understand that they can’t be as loud as they want all the time, so it’s apparently not common sense :) we’re on the same side here girly

No I get it, I’m also a light sleeper but I’ve tried so hard to be quite but every morning there’s a complaint. Like I can’t control how loud the coffee maker is. It’s exhausting and I feel like I can’t live in my own space.
