bad behavior has never excluded people from being men. thirty, forty, fifty year old men behave this way, it’s not a matter of maturity. and that’s what irks me. this idea that men are above the behavior when the majority of the behavior is perpetuated by men over 18.

i just have never personally seen anybody use that phrase in the way you’re talking about. men that commit SA are men that commit SA? i’ve only ever heard that phrase used when talking about men who avoid commitment, ignore responsibilities, just men who lack emotionally mature responses and behaviors

i’ve heard people act like any man who does bad things, cheat, harass, abuse, etc. “isn’t a man, they’re a boy” but i’m glad you don’t hear it in those contexts!
