Pls. My mom called my grandma for hours a day up until the day she passed. I now call my mom almost everyday. Don’t let anyone tell you you need to be separated from your parents

I should definitely call my mom more 😭 poor lady is stressed as hell at home and every time we call she rants for at least 30 minutes about family problems

Some people might think it’s a little weird, but there’s certainly nothing wrong with it. Most people aren’t lucky enough to be that close w their moms, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t relish in our relationships :)

that was my mom with my grandma too. it’s been 4 years and my mom still gets really sad, she cried just the other day thinking about her mom :( i’m really close with mine too so i can’t even imagine

The year after was definitely hard for her and she definitely had some lasting depression (her dad died four years later!). She’s gotten some hobbies and a good job now though and she seems genuinely happy
