I miss having male doctors only because they would LOAD you up with medication refills. Now I get meds from 2 different female doctors and trying to get a refill is like I’m begging on my hands and knees for my damn ssri

Ugh especially when it’s something like this that you’ve used the meds for forever. A male urgent care doctor once gave me 4 refills just in case I need it for a ear infection medication because I told him I swim a lot. Meanwhile I can’t even get my gyno to give me an extra pack of birth control to have on hand😭

I understand as a doctor that they’re making sure nobody is selling or abusing medication and like technically the female doctors are doing their job better/safer. But like. As a chronically ill baddie PLEASE JUST GIVE THEM TO ME UGHH
