I broke up with my boyfriend and I’ve been crying for hours. He was toxic to some degree but he always understood my mental heath issues and comforted me when I needed it. I’m fucking devastated even though it was the right thing to do

proud of you :) take some time to focus on yourself, and remember what it was like before him. spend time with friends, pick up new hobbies or practice some old ones, etc. in my experience, no contact has helped the most to move on and focus on myself, so i would recommend that if you haven’t done it already. but also take the time to grieve! so many people undermine how devastating breakups are and emphasize just “getting over” things. it’s ok if you wanna cry for a week straight and then get
