I’ve learned that people with higher education (doctors, PhD students of any kind) tend to be very self-centered in friendships and it never really works out. It’s like now they can actually have something to show for their intelligence and they’re above you. I feel this way about all college professors honestly, bc wdym you wanted to be a college professor in order to show off your knowledge about one thing to a bunch of 18-22 year olds (primarily)

i know :/ idek what to say now. do i even respond?? and my best friend also knows i was texting him something and she also said the same things about him and when i told her i was gonna talk to him and i won’t put her in the middle and hope he doesn’t either all she said was “i mean you gotta do what you gotta do.” and that rubbed me the wrong way but it’s whatever.
