i genuinely don’t understand why anyone would be racist, homophobic or transphobic, anything. why do you hate other people for existing in their own way? why do you hate someone because they are a different skin color than you? why do you hate someone based on who they love or wanna be? it will never make sense in my head

the first words out of my mom’s mouth when I came out as trans were “what do you think about trans women in women’s sports.” she’s supportive btw, and has irl trans friends, yet that was her first thought. people don’t realize how much propaganda they consume.
