i have a few things I like to do Take out front pieces before, I just use a little hair clip Take your time with getting the lines nice- dry shampoo can help give a bit of volume in the front without it being poofy If my ponytail isn’t high I’ll usually flip it under- tie it and then pull the hair tie a bit and pull it through. It gives a bit of a holding it with your hand look. Also try with a middle part and with no part, I prefer a part on lower ponies with my shorter layers coming out
