i normally use makeup wipes but i want to switch to a remover balm, just not sure if a makeup removing balm and oil cleanser will serve the exact same purpose though 😭

tbh 🧍🏻‍♀️my oil cleanser does a great job melting my makeup down but if i feel like it hasn’t done enough i’ll go over with a makeup wipe (rare, it’s sometimes just me needing the reassurance)

i haven’t had a lot of experience with balms sorry ☹️☹️☹️ but i think an oil cleanser will do great with breaking the makeup down without a balm

(i looked it up) it seems like you don’t have to use a balm, but if you want that extra reassurance you got everything you can do it as a double cleanse routine. but oil cleansers usually do a great job getting rid of everything as a standalone product

yeah the balm i want is oil based so idek if that would be considered a double cleanse (i imagine it as oil cleanser then water cleanser from the tik toks i’ve seen 😭)? i’ll probably still make the switch and just leave it at my partner’s house since i don’t keep my skincare there. thanks for the help!!
