Tell her straight up. The maturity gap between 18 and 25 is insane. If it was like 30 & 37, I don’t feel like it would matter near as much because they’ve both been “adulting”- if you will- for quite some time.

18 is likeeee still a kid. 25 is a college graduate😀🤚 BIGGG difference! I think you should also consider talking to her about things like grooming. I’m 21 and I would definitely say that like when I was an 18-year-old there’s no way that even I was mature enough to date anybody older than me at that point. So a seven year age gap between a literal teenager like still a kid and a “living on my own” adult is fucking huge

Not to mention at this age, you’re still like both of them are still green, but she’s like very young and that leaves her vulnerable and- I don’t mean to in a bad way – but it leaves her in a more naïve state. Cause you don’t know the same things you know at 25, at 18. Like she’s not gonna wanna hear it, but you know what, part of adulting and growing up is accepting things you don’t want to hear it being ok with that. Cause I know most 18-year-olds like they think oh yeah I’m a legal adult now

… so I’m like THAT GUY and that’s just not true. 18 is still very much a kid. At 19, 20, and now 21, I’m still a kid in the eyes of the world. I’ve done a lotta growing at 20 and now 21 but I’ve got a looong way to go. She’s gonna need a hard reality check.
