rebel flag. A confederate flag looks similar to the colonial flag. A rebel flag was created later to be a racist emblem

Regardless it was created during the civil war and associated with the confederacy because it was their battle flag and incorporated into the last 2 versions of their national flag. It’s more widespread than their actual flag. The point I’m making is these people are idiots for calling other people unamerican when they openly support traitors to the states and the American people

And yeah and the point I was trying to make is that they are idiots also because they mislabel and call the flag they fly the wrong name saying it’s their ancestor’s national flag, when in reality it was only used by a battalion and later popularized in the 1900s by vets in favor of segregation. (Either way it’s still wrong, yet they consider themselves history buffs)
