i’m not the biggest fan of ICE but i find it disgusting when people opportunistically loot stores and burn down public facilities, totally unrelated to the stated reason for the protests

Can’t see what the original post was but I’ll say this: Looting is horrible people taking advantage of distracted police during protests, not protesters Protesters have stated multiple times that anyone encouraging vandalism is undercover cops It has also been stated that cop cars were left in places where the LAPD knew they would have rocks thrown at them

stonewall didn’t accomplish anything at the time and gay marriage remained illegal in new york for decades. gay marriage was achieved through peaceful protest.

you could say it helped kickstart the creation of some gay rights movements that accomplished their goals overwhelmingly through peaceful means. you live in a fictional far left internet bubble where rioting works and peaceful protests don’t. the truth is the exact opposite. oh and by the way i’m gay and a woman of color and my girlfriend is a latina immigrant 🫶🏼
