I think (not trying to put words in anyone’s mouth) they see it from the same perspective as pro-lifers who do not adopt or foster children when there are thousands of animals in kill shelters for horrible reasons

which is crazy to me bc just because you have an ethically bred dog doesn’t automatically mean you’re against rescuing either… like i’ve had both rescue dogs and well bred ethically bred dogs so they really can’t say shit 😭
