i work in food service, we close at 9 and we have people call in their order at 8:55 (we have to take their order) and they don’t show up until 9:35. we can’t close the register until they pick up thier food

I worked at a pet daycare and we closed at 6 but people would come HOURS late, and obviously we couldn’t just close up and leave their pets alone so I ended up doing so many hours of unpaid overtime 😭
