I’ve found that most people who think being single is best are in a more flirty/not ready to settle down time of their life. Everyone has their own preferences! I’ve been in a relationship for years a love it even tho I’m not sure I’m going to marry the man!

that’s fair! i’ve just found that most of my friends who tell me that it’s better to be single are also actively trying to get married… it’s just crazy watching them go from guy to guy to guy and never really stay single for long, while simultaneously preaching to me that being single is better and that men these days aren’t worth it. there’s just such a big disconnect between what they say vs what they actually do 😭

like i love my friends, but it’s so annoying when they, prob unintentionally, dismiss my feelings 😭 i’ve never had a bf and i genuinely want one, but they always wanna preach to me about how being single is so much better. meanwhile, i’ve never seen them stay single for more than 2 seconds 💀 like if being single is really that great, then break up with your toxic bf that you’re constantly complaining to me about 😭
