I “baby sit” a 8th grader and freshman bc their parents were concerned abt them getting to school safely so I drove them. I did nothing but wake them up and watch tv for 2 hours doing my HW and got $40 a day it was literally fucking wild that family was so tight on them girls

My parents were super strict too and they only trusted that specific babysitter. If she wasn’t available, they weren’t leaving. Me and my sister were super quiet and my babysitter would just sit and FaceTime her husband the whole time lmao

Like it makes sense she was paid that much, absolutely deserved it, she was a daycare teacher to begin with. But I just googled it and that translates to $42 an hour now. When I start my RN job I will make less 😭
