I always get a yeast infection after sex & my dr can't explain why: any tips? I already take a probiotic for women, I've used the Monistat creams they don't work. I've taken long term 90 day flucocanozole. wtf is wrong w me?

try a different probiotic for sure. the one ur taking might not be working for you. i would go back to the doc and make sure they're testing for the correct thing, check for stds, and make sure ur being treated for the correct strain of yeast. i definitely have never had this to this extent, but i used boric acid suppositories to get rid of my yeast infections. u could try that (don't use longer than recommended), and see if that does any good.

also make sure ur peeing after sex, using condoms, using clean lubes only, and wipe down with a wet towel down there after sex. also check ur partner isn't using harsh soaps on their dick

They've tested for every STD and extensive tests have been done. I remember like a year ago I had a urinary infection they treated with antibiotics we thought that was it but it wasn't. I've switched my probiotics but I could definitely use more recommendations. Thank you!

Yep, I do that now. It's just so confusing why I still get them. I hate being a woman lol

i use good girl probiotics from target. literally that sounds so cursed i hope someone can solve this for u. have u tried switching laundry detergents, not wearing underwear to bed, only wearing cotton underwear, and avoiding thongs and tight pants daily too?

Lowkey I haven't thought of the detergent thing at all! I do skip underwear at bedtime and only do cotton. I find that now they mostly show up the day after sex. That makes me think it's just a curse and like it's just penis induced even though we use special non latex non fragrance condoms 🥲🥲🥲 I'm going to try those probiotics!

try a boric acid suppository for 1 night after sex! ull need to avoid sex for 24 hrs after but that might help clear whatever's growing out each time. u just stick one up ur vagina before bed, wear a pad and let it work

I've used those before and seen some progress but never consistently or after sex! That is a good idea!!! I'll do that, also because the boric acid ones have either aloe or coconut oil which is an anti fungal

yessss. and try just using 1 the day after sex and see if that keeps u feeling balanced still, u can try doing 2 days if u feel it growing again and if u knw u have an active infection do 5-7 days of it
