Why do republicans acknowledge that a no gun sign won’t stop shooters, but can’t fathom that a “women’s” sign on a bathroom wouldn’t stop predators from going in

probably the same reason that the 2D liberals they talk about say my body my choice when talking about pregnant women, who in some viewpoints are affecting another body, but insist on everyone getting an untested vaccine or being forced out of most of society

not saying that is a correct POV either, only that having this 2D version of “republicans” or “liberals” does literally nothing but show you refuse to consider that some issues are complex, like bathroom labels giving legal basis and a feeling of safety or vaccines being important for people who are immunocompromised. perpetuating that every person on one side has the same exact group of beliefs just makes the polarization/blind hate issue worse, which is a large reason trump was able to win

So like doesn’t really matter what your “viewpoint” is, it is her body her choice in that context as she’s still fully supporting the other “body” and it cannot survive without her body. Additionally there has never been an untested vaccine mandated in public so I’m not sure what ur referring to

you can just keep losing elections if that’s what you want, was only pointing out that the “why do republicans…” mindset has flipped a lot of people to other parties bc they’re tired of oversimplified rhetoric that purposefully ignores major points in favor of having fun sassy insults or comebacks. but you can do whatever you want, like adding the condescending “babe” at the end of comments. I’m sure that’s making people want to see things your way!
