I apologize for the timing of this post. I shouldn’t have made it with the cute promise ring post that’s up right now. I let my feelings get the best of me and didn’t think of how it would affect the girl who just got the promise ring she’s been wanting. I’m not intending to target her specifically though. Yes her post is what made me finally actually post this, but it’s a thought I’ve had many many times. It’s not specifically about her, so I didn’t feel the need to make it seem like it is a problem I have with her. If she likes it and she’s happy, I’m happy for her. I personally just don’t like the idea of promise rings as adults.
