This is exactly how I feel. He’s so amazing and wonderful to me I could never say anything like “all men are bad”. On top of that there have been some other men in my life who have meant a lot to me. Just as one example, my dad is an absolutely amazing father and a wonderful person. I wouldn’t be who I am today without his parenting and encouragement.
This is how most things are. For example pitbulls, people have a bad experience with one and now all pits are mean and vicious. These also happen to humans with stereotyping. Some people do something and now the whole minority is labeled as something stereotypical. The keyword for this is STEREOTYPES every group has one
Can you not imagine how saying something about a group of people defined by how they were born is less useful (and perhaps detrimental to true liberation & solidarity) than saying it about a group of people who choose their profession? When we say that about cops, we’re trying to get them to quit. What are we trying to get men to do?
