i said no but if you guys don’t typically get eachother gifts then it’s okay. my friend has a bday dinner and i was the only one who got her something 😭. she didnt get me anything i think but she used to literally take me EVERYWHERE so it’s the least i could do

did you have a get together for your birthday? i would say it’s more expected to bring a gift if someone is hosting something. but if they didn’t bring one to yours then you don’t have to either
