crazy how when i was 14 i considered whether or not i wanted to be a boy and for a little bit i was like well yes! and then i realized i don’t want to be a boy i just don’t want to wear makeup or be sexually assaulted.

Also, I realized later that a lot of the way we (even “woke” people) talk about gender identity is still super sexist. Like, I have always felt masculine and connected more to masculinity than femininity, and I did feel pressured to transition (not saying that’s the same for everyone—that was just my personal experience. I completely support trans rights). The truth is I’m just a masc lesbian. Women can be masculine too, and men can be feminine without being “eggs”
